ROOM 11  - MUSICALS

In the center, we have the official T-Birds jacket from Grease, signed by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. Their signatures are accompanied by their character names: Sandy and Danny.

Additionally, to celebrate the anniversary of the film, there was a reunion with the original cast and the director, and we managed to get this poster signed by nearly the entire cast of Grease.

To the left, we dive into the 80s with Dirty Dancing.

We have a magazine featuring Patrick Swayze on the cover, signed about four years after the film’s release. Black shirt, perfect hair… the exact same look from the movie.

Right next to it, the iconic image of the lift, signed by Baby (Jennifer Grey), his dance partner in the film.

And right between both pieces, you’ll find the sheet music for “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” signed by Bill Medley, the original singer of the song.

What’s the fun fact? That same singer also performed “Unchained Melody” in 1965 — the main theme of Ghost, another iconic Patrick Swayze film.

Why? Because he’s one of the Righteous Brothers.
So yes — the same voice sings the theme song of the two most famous Patrick Swayze films.

To the far left, you’ll see the golden ticket from Willy Wonka. Not from the Johnny Depp version, but the original 1971 film with Gene Wilder. And it’s signed by Peter Ostrum, the actor who played Charlie, the boy who finds the golden ticket.

And if we’re looking for a more recent musical? We’ve selected… Barbie.

Here you have an exclusive Barbie doll from the film, wearing the pink dress and featuring the face of Margot Robbie.
It’s signed by the actress herself. She signed it at the Australian premiere — and in pink, of course.

She even added the “B” of Barbie.
So this is the first Barbie signed by the real-life Barbie.

To the right, we have two true gems:
First: an original vinyl of West Side Story, signed by Leonard Bernstein, the composer and musical director of the classic.

And the cherry on top: an original signature of Walt Disney.
This photo collage captures several facets of the dream-maker’s legacy:

– An image of Walt drawing the very first Mickey Mouse short, where Mickey whistles on the boat
– Three figurines of Snow White, his first full-length animated feature
– And his main characters: Donald Duck, Pluto, and Goofy, alongside live-action actors
We estimate this composition dates back to the late 1950s or early 60s.

An absolute TREASURE.

Walt Disney didn’t sign merchandise or fan autographs.
He usually only signed documents in business or institutional settings.
So to have an authentic Walt Disney signature on a piece that sums up his entire legacy…

is, without a doubt, the crown jewel of the entire collection.

Now we move on to the war films room.
